Awwww

It cracks me up when a baby's hat slips down over their eyes. Babies tend to not think this is so funny, but at this moment in time this baby was sleeping. (Boy C at eight weeks.)

And just so I don't show preferential treatment here they all are together.

Really big news

While I won't divulge the yarn company's name just yet I can share some really big news with y'all: A yarn company contacted me (ME!) to be one of three people to write for their new blog! Here's the offer: They present pattern options to me (from their extensive list), I choose the pattern I want to knit and they supply that pattern and yarn (also of my choice). They also offer a yarn stipend (payment in YARN!). Weekly, a new blog post from each of the contributors who write about the adventures in yarn, pattern, and the like. And a new project about every month. My first project is going to be some nice felted slippers and the yarn and pattern is on its way to me.

Whooohooo!

The blog is slated to kick off June 15th. As soon as I get the go-ahead I will most certainly post the link.

Another Whooohooo can't hurt, can it?

WHOOOHOOO!

Sleep deprivation

Five a.m. is something I can work with. If I get myself into bed by 10 p.m., 5 a.m. isn't so bad. I gotta say, though, several days in a row of 3:00 or 3:30 a.m. is a killer. That's sleep deprivation.

There are two forms of therapy for sleep deprivation: knitting and holding a sleeping baby (this form is often better because I can sleep some too).

There are many knitting projects that I have completed these last few months. I even have pictures. Herein lies the problem: those pictures are either 1) still in the camera or 2) on the desktop computer instead of the laptop. Someday I'll share said photos on this here knitting blog.

After I take a nap.
