Good Friday

Easter is early and the snow is falling. It is falling fast and a lot of it. Here in southcentral Michigan we are looking at a good ten inches by end of tomorrow. It is simply lovely. Truly, I love the stuff. I'm going to sit in the comfort of our little home and watch the ladies walking into church on Sunday in their new Easter dresses and white sandals. Haa! We will attend church on Saturday night to enjoy the deep tradition of Easter vigil. Easter day we are heading north to my in-laws for dinner.

5,000 ends = 94

This post about the 5,000 ends may have been a bit of an exaggeration.


It is more accurately 94 ends.


Ninety-four.


Yes, I like the sweater, yes it is cute and to have that matching ribbon, well, that could not have been planned better. But 94 ends! What was I thinking? The kind ladies at my Tuesday night knitting group asked me if I would ever do that again. My shotgun answer was "NO!" But, truthfully, would you consider having another baby when asked that question immediately following labor? NO! We do it anyway don't we?

Please do not misunderstand me. In now way am I comparing weaving in 94 ends on a baby kimono with labor. It was just an analogy. It only feels like labor in my mind.
