Too cute

Here's Baby C (the new little guy) sitting in his new Bumbo that grandma got him. These are taken this past weekend during our camping trip. Tomorrow he'll be 20 weeks. Does not seem possible!

Isn't he cute?!

Trader

Call me a trader, turncoat, whatever you like, but I've gone over to the dark side and dun taught myself to crochet!

I've always had respect for folks who crochet. It and they deserve just as much as those who knit. Once I was paid to knit a child's poncho that had a crochet Fun Fur trim. That trim took me longer than all the knitting for the poncho. As an experienced knitter I know that having a newbie start with something like Fun Fur is just plain mean, so give me some credit that the crochet trim took a lot longer because of the yarn.

A few years back I was intrigued by amigurumi. Go ahead and Google it. It's down right cute and dare I say, done with crochet it's cuter than knitted. Gasp!

I recently caught the cute amigurumi bug again (this sounds worse than it really is, it really kinda sounds like a bad disease) anyway...I got a burr in my bonnet and decided to give crochet a go. I found it fascinating and easier to deal with during a car ride than fiddling with four sock needles (my usual go-to travel project).

So as I literally dream about making amigurumis and practice my newest craft I slack on doing my deadline knitting. Additionally, a co-worker is expecting quads (2 boys and 2 girls) and she simply needs some hand knits. Gotta run to finish the fourth item (will show pics later).
